La Hoya de Bunyol-Chiva
    The area is located in the foothills of the Ave, Cabrillas and Chiva mountains. It is rugged terrain which has been marked by the Rambla de Chiva dry river bed and the Magro and Bunyol rivers. It is home to woodland areas and thousand meter high peaks. The footpaths in this area are close to some fine waterfalls making the area in ideal place for hiking.

    Interesting Spots:

      Bunyol Castle (13th century).

      Cheste: Iglesia de San Lucas Evangelista (18th century church).

      Godelleta: Minaret.

      Dos Aguas: Pico de Ave mountain, and Minaret.

      Millares: The Jucar river, Cueva de Dones and Cueva de las Palomas caves. Part of this borough lies within La Muela de Cortes National Hunting Reserve

      Yátova: Source of the Mijares river. Forata reservoir. The GR-7, the long distance international footpath, runs through the town.
